Have you ever wanted to get up close and personal with a Wind Turbine?
Come and meet the Energia Renewables team to find out about the Drumlins Park Wind Farm, near Newbliss. Members of the Operations and Construction team will talk about the wind farm and importance of wind energy before taking the registered attendees up by minibus to the wind farm, where they will be able to see inside a tower and watch a demonstration of how drones are used to inspect blades without the need to climb the turbines. Visitors will be driven back to the hotel at the end of the visit.
Please note, this event begins with a short presentation in the hotel before being taken by minibus to the wind farm location. No private cars will be given access to the Wind Farm. If you miss the bus, you miss out!
Suitable footwear for outdoor terrain should be worn.
