The Body Language of Trees
Join the Marble Arch Caves Ranger, Dr Kate Crane, an arboriculturist, around Dun a Ri Forest Park, to look at the trees and how they have grown within this biologically rich, yet commercially managed site. In order to thrive in this evolving woodland, the trees must adapt and react to make the most of their growing environment. Trees exhibit ‘Body Language’, visible responses to changes in their surroundings, and we will explore some of these within this beautiful park. Event Information The walk begins at the main car park where Kate will meet you at 11:30am. Please bring your booking confirmation with you and arrive at least 15mins before the walk is due to begin.
This event is Adult Only. We will follow the Village Walk, approximately 1.5 Km that skirts around the edge of Lady’s Lake, past Cabra Cottage and the old Barracks
