Science In Business explores how Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths or STEM, is at the heart Businesses across Cavan and Monaghan.  We’ve visited a few to have a look at what they do and the Careers within them.  You'll be surprised by the broad range of STEM work being done in our home counties.   

GO ExperimentHere we have a list of interactive Scientific experiments you can try at home or in school with bits and pieces from your cupboards or other materials that are easily available.   As the title says Go Experiment! 

What's on? This is where you'll get the Date time and links to our Live Lectures and demonstrations. If you have already signed up, you'll be able include yourself in these Science event notifications.  If you Miss an event you will also be able to see the recordings of the event here for the duration of the Festival. 

Stem For Schools Is where you will find our activities aimed specifically at schools.  This includes our events such as The Science of Roald Dahl with Jon Chase, a look at early Coding with Epic Museum, a visit from Horrible Science author Nick Arnold and much more. The Live events are scheduled for November 8th to 15th. We will be usings Crowdcast to stream our Live events, Places will be limited so sign up is important. 

Science in your area

2020 is the fifth year of Cavan Monaghan Science Festival, which is led by Monaghan County Council in partnership with Cavan County Council. A week-long festival will take place virtually across the web. 

It is vitally important to register for events as most of out events have limited places.
